I feel a little lost. It just now hit me that I can never go back to the place that I called home. Even though it was just nine months that I called Church Hall my home, I grew attached to it. I loathed it while I lived there. But now I realized that I won’t lay in my bed and have talks with my roommate before bed every night. I won’t get to watch Family Feud before falling asleep in my lofted bed anymore. I won’t get to sit at my desk and write papers or study for exams. I won’t get to complain about how terrible the showers are or how no one seems to know how to flush (but I won’t miss that at all).

I guess I should have learned to appreciate dorm life while I had it. But it had to come to an end soon. Now I just have to wait for my move in date for my apartment and learn to appreciate it there.
